C-DAC Mohali has conducted the Information Security Education and Awareness workshop at Air Force Station, Kasauli to 100 Air Force Personnel.

Phishing, Securing your personal information online, Trojans, Spyware were discussed broadly and the precautions to be taken while surfing over Internet were briefly elaborated. Latest case studies regarding information security were discussed and participants shared their experiences with different kind of problem they faced over Internet. Topics on scareware and different scams were also discussed.

Live examples of different phishing scams were shown to them to create awareness among them. It was a fruitful workshop to the Air Force Participants as per their feedback
