ISEA Workshop for College Students

C-DAC Mohali has conducted the Information Security Education and Awareness workshop at Army Institute of Law, Mohali in association with C-DAC, Hyderabad, Department of Information Technology, Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, Government of India .
200 Law students and 50 teachers attended the workshop.
Shri J.S Bhatia, Director, C-DAC, Mohali inaugurated the Workshop on Security Awareness.
Shri. R.K Sehgal, Head of Cyber Security Technology Division, Chief Investigator (ISEA) C-DAC, Mohali, gave a brief detail of the Project Information Security Education and Awareness.
Mr. Kuljit Singh Parmar,Design Engineer,Co-investigator(ISEA), C-DAC, Mohali was the speaker on the diace who discussed the internet security issue with the participants.
Internet Threats like phishing scams, identity theft and many more were discussed and tips for securing the internet browser were given to the paticipants. The participants were enthusiastic on using Internet and shared their experiences with different threats over Internet.
Good feedback represented the participants keenness to learn about security issues while doing the internet.
