ISEA Workshop

Workshop on Information Security Education and Awareness

Looking at the growing importance for the Information Security, Department of Information Technology, Ministry of Communications & Information Technology, Government of India has formulated and initiated the Information Security Education and Awareness (ISEA) Programme. One of the activities under this programme is to create Information Security Awareness to amongst students, teachers and parents. Department of Information Technology(DIT) has given the responsibility of executing the Security Awareness Programme to C-DAC, Hyderabad.

DIT felt the need of conducting such workshops in all parts of the country with the support of Participating Institutes under ISEA Programme, NGOs, and other Government Organizations in association with IETE, IEEE local chapters etc.

We are planning to conduct a workshop on 9th June’2008 to the resource persons from Participating Institutes (PI) to demonstrate the content developed for teachers, parents and children by C-DAC, Hyderabad

During this workshop, we will be providing all details and  also the available financial support to take up such workshops by PIs, NGOs, and other organizations.

As part of this programme, we are also inviting various Government school children, teachers and parents of the children for the demonstration of security awareness kit from 10 AM to 1 PM at Green Park Hotel, Greenlands, Hyderabad

NGOs and other organizations those who are interested to conduct workshops may stay up to 5 Pm for further discussions
