One day workshop on "Information Security Awareness" organized by ABV-IIITM Gwalior. The participants include the Senior School level Taechers of Computer Science and Senior school level students of School. The Inauguration of the workshop was done by Prof.S.G.Deshmukh, Director, ABV-IIITM, Gwalior.
The workshop was sheduled in such a way that there were two talks on Network Security and Cyber Security. And a practical demonstration of Hoe to Setup network security and operating system security" was done.
The workshop attendees were around 35 from 11 different schools. The list of the schools participated are:
- Kendriya Vidyala, Gwalior, No. 1
- Kendriya Vidyala, Gwalior, No. 2
- Kendriya Vidyala, Gwalior, No. 3
- Kendriya Vidyala, Gwalior, No. 4
- Kendriya Vidyala, Gwalior, No. 5
- Kendriya Vidyala, Bhind
- Kendriya Vidyala, Morena
- Air Force School, No. 1
- Scindia Kanya Vidyalaya, Gwalior
- Scindia School , Gwalior Fort
- Little Angels High School, Gwalior.
The participants were provided kits containing, a bag, study material on Security, Note Pads, Pen and a Mouse Pad.
Dr. Shashikala Tapaswi ended up the workshop with the Vote of Thanks.
The need of such workshops in future was expressed by the participants.
