ISEA Workshop for School Children

C-DAC Mohali conducted a Mass scale workshop at St. Mary’s Convent School, Kasuali for 400 students and teachers.
C-DAC Mohali has conducted the Information Security Education and Awareness workshop at St. Mary’s Convent School, Kasauli to 400 students and Teachers. The children from standard 7th, 8th, 9th,10th participated in the workshop and were actively involved during the sessions.
Ethics to follow while doing internet were told to them. Safe browsing, safe chatting, were discussed broadly and the precautions to be taken while surfing n Internet were briefly elaborated. Topic on Identity theft and security measures for protecting information online was discussed. The children were very keen to know about the viruses, worm, spywares and shared their experiences with different kind of problem they normally faced over Internet. Topics about scareware were also discussed.
The feedback from students truly represented their satisfaction from the workshop.
