"Cyber Swachhta Abhiyaan : Cyber Hygiene Campaign"

The month of October is globally observed as the National Cyber Security Awareness Month (NCSAM), with the aim of increasing Cyber Security Awareness among the public, which in turn will enhance the cyber resilience of our cyberspace.

The "Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan" is the most significant cleanliness campaign launched by our Hon'ble Prime Minister in 2019. Every year in the month of October, the cleanliness campaign is being celebrated across length and breadth of the country as a national movement to achieve the vision of a 'Clean India'. On similar lines, the "Cyber Swachhta Abhiyaan: Cyber Hygiene Campaign" for the cleanliness of our Cyberspace and providing a line of protection to our Internet based systems.

The aim of this campaign is to spread cyber awareness amongst the people through Government departments, various organizations, academic institutions and schools, Academic Institutions, TSPs ,ISPs etc ..

Objective of the Campaign:

• Take steps to protect their devices (change passwords, enable two-factor authentication, apply patches, etc.).
• Learn to avoid common scams/tricks.
• Building cyber awareness.
• Building cyber skills by taking a course and possibly pursuing a career in cybersecurity.
