InfoSec Concept

What is a Blockchain ?

A blockchain is, in the simplest of terms, a time-stamped series of immutable records of data that is managed by cluster of computers not owned by any single entity. Each of these blocks of data (i.e. block) are secured and bound to each other using cryptographic principles (i.e. chain).
Blockchain Technology
Blockchain technology is defined as a distributed ledger system which is used to record data transactions across multiple computers. It makes it difficult for any type of data breaches, identity thefts, cyber-attacks or foul play in transactions. This ensures that the data remains private and secure. Blockchain technology has seeped into every sphere of lives from banking to healthcare and beyond. By removing much of the human element from data storage, block chains significantly mitigate the risk of human error, which is the largest cause of data breaches. Blockchain Technology Records Transaction in Digital Ledger which is distributed over the Network thus making it incorruptible. click here to read full article
